Colours of Autumn

I love Autumn in Romania. The colours are amazing. As I had some time off work, my Romanian wife, Maria, decided that I really should see more of the country.

We drove up into the mountains, and through amazingly coloured forests. Where there had been a frost, there was a spectacle of colour - where it was still warm, the trees were green.

As you can see in this picture of mine, the trees change colour at different rates.

We toured and stopped at hotels as we travalled. Nothing was decided before in the morning and we never knew where we would end up in the evening. This was probably one of the most relaxed and enjoyable trips in Romania I have ever taken.
