Along the park

Facing Cismigiu park there's a beautiful small villa with a gorgeous art nouveau entrance facing the park. A tram line wraps around the house with the bell ringing and heads up a street along newer blocks. I sat along the fence across the street and drew this one day, as the strollers went past with people taking their kids to the park, and people heading up toward Kogalniceanu. Right now in Cismigiu and in front of this house, the trees are turning colors, the bark is turning black in the autumn rain, the yellow leaves are covering the street. In Cismigiu, the deciduous tees are getting their winter sculptural look with gigantic black twisting branches. In the winter, when the hoarfrost is on the trees and snow piled up next to the fence, snow will dust the house, but it'll still be a beautiful small villa facing the park. |
